White Friday is the Middle East's version of Black Friday, and in the UAE it's the biggest online sale of the year. In 2026, Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November, and most stores are expected to run their sales in the week around it.
When does White Friday 2026 start?
Stores confirm their dates in early November, but the pattern is predictable:
- Early access, about a week before: app users, newsletter subscribers and loyalty members get first pick.
- Main sale, around 20 to 30 November: the widest range of discounts and the most promo codes.
- Cyber Monday, 30 November: a final round, often focused on electronics.

Five steps to a better White Friday
1. Make a list in October
Write down what you need and today's price for each item. A price tracker or a screenshot works. When the sale starts, you'll know straight away which discounts are real.
2. Sign up before the sale
Early-access codes go to app users and newsletter subscribers first. Install the apps of the two or three stores you use most and log in, so you're not setting up an account while stock sells out.
3. Check your cards
Several UAE banks run White Friday card offers that stack with a store's own codes. Note which cards you have and which stores they cover.
4. Compare the final price
Percentages can mislead. Compare the final amount after the discount cap, delivery fee and any service charge. A 15% code with no cap can beat a 30% code capped at AED 50.
5. Buy the essentials first
Popular items and limited-use codes sell out in the first hours. Buy the things you need most first, then browse.

After the sale
Keep your receipts and note each store's return window. Sale items sometimes have shorter return periods. If a price drops again during the same sale, some stores will refund the difference, so it's worth asking customer service.
